How can a guest use digital keys?
They receive a link with the keys or can chat with the hotel.
First, set up the digital locks in Runnr.ai. Via Hotek, for example.
Once this is set up, make sure you add the "Digital key" template to your Guest journey. This will enable Runnr.ai to send a message with the links to the digital keys to the guest. This link is unique for every guest, and they can share it with the other guests that they stay with. When they follow the link they get to a landing page (with your logo) with buttons to activate their keys/open their locks. Guests can also activate a key/open a lock by sending a message to the hotel via Whatsapp. Because Runnr.ai knows the room number of the guest, it will open the right doors.
When a guest is unable to receive a whatsapp message, you can also send the keys via email from the chat profile of the guest.
The keys will only be active between check-in and check-out.
