Why does Runnr.ai use an URL shortener for our links?

Ideally, we would show your own links at all time. Because we know that showing a shortlink doesn't always feel trustworthy for guests.

However, there are two main reasons why we do so:

1. Some properties share very very long links, which don't improve the experience for the guest.
2. The Runnr.ai domain is whitelisted by Booking.com, so when there is a conversation in the Booking.com channel, any links can be shared by the AI without problems. Other domains could influence the trustworthiness of the property within Booking, resulting in potentially less bookings.
