How can I set up a custom short URL?

Follow these two easy steps.

First, put in the shortlink you would like to use. This will need to be [something].[yourdomain].[your top level domain]. You can decide on what to use in the place of [Something]. A lot of our clients use "link" or "chat".

Example: link.casafranquilo.nl

After entering this link, we will create two so-called "records" that your domain owner should enter in the website's DNS settings.

  • The first is a CNAME record to instruct the shared link to go to app.runnr.ai, and then we will forward it to the actual link itself.

  • The second is a TXT record to make sure the security certificate automatically renews at certain intervals.

Once that is done, wait for up to an hour, and then it should work.

We will then show all links not as app.runnr.ai/s/xxxxxx but as link.casafranquilo.nl/xxxxxx (example)
